Is Amazing how solving problems online for candidates, you just feel the Peace that comes with it entirely. So in our previous article, we made a post on How to Purchase JAMB UTME & Direct Entry e-PINs on Quickteller and testimonies were raining in our emails with 'Thank you'.
And today! We are dropping a similar update but would be based on a different platform we all know very much but we lack trust in them. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has set out easy steps to guide candidates who wish to purchase their UTME and Direct Entry (DE) e-PINS via REMITA and get their e-PINS instantly.
I know how stressful and the delay experienced by many other online paying platforms while trying to purchase their ePINs. We have decided to publish the step-by-step guidelines for candidates who wish to obtain their e-PINS quickly and easily with zero stress by using the Remita electronic platform.
Please make sure you carefully follow the guidelines and instructions given below:
For candidates going for Direct Entry:
- Candidates are to Create their profile by sending his/her National Identification Number (NIN) by text (SMS) to 55019 OR 66019 from his/her personal GSM number. E.g. write the word "NIN" then space and add your 11-digit NIN Number and send to 55019 OR 66019 in this format (NIN 00123456789). There should be a space between the word 'NIN' and your 11-digit NIN (Note that the number must not have been used by another person to register for UTME/DE in the past)
- The candidate receives a confirmation code.
- Candidate visits https://login.remita.net/remita/onepage/2002814943/service.spa
- Select ‘Sales of JAMB/DE Registration Forms’ in the ‘Name of Service/Purpose” column
- Enter the candidate's confirmation code received after registration via SMS
- If the Phone number is already registered on JAMB, Payer's name, is retrieved from JAMB otherwise, the candidate has to get registered on the JAMB portal as described in step 1 above.
- Enter other details and select how you want to pay.
- Once the transaction has been processed, click the “Print Receipt” button to provide the payer with his transaction receipt. The JAMB DE PIN is displayed on the payment receipt.
Candidates going for the JAMB UTME:
- Every candidate is to Create their profile by sending his/her National Identification Number (NIN) by text (SMS) to 55019 OR 66019 from his/her personal GSM number. - You will receive a 10-character confirmation code on the same telephone number which will be used to procure your ePIN
- Visit https://login.remita.net/remita/onepage/1826108934/service.spa
- Select ‘Sales of JAMB/UTME Registration Forms’ in the ‘Name of Service/Purpose” column
- Enter your registered phone number (the one on which you received the confirmation code)
- Enter other details and select how you want to pay
- Click ‘Submit’
After payment, your PIN is delivered to your phone number and also displayed on your Remita receipt.

- Click on the Procure E-PIN
- Enter Your Profile Code in the box Provided
- Click on the Get Details
- Proceed to make your payment online.
NOTE:
- With this link, Download the Remita mobile App. and pay directly from your bank account or with your Debit card
- Internet Banking of Select Banks
- Process your RRR at any Bank Branch
- After payment, your PIN will be sent to your JAMB profile email address.
- You can also view the PIN via the UTME examination menu on the portal or The online receipt of your Remita App.
